Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions before using www.thepcs.in or requesting courier and related services from Perfect Courier Solutions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website or by requesting services from Perfect Courier Solutions (“PCS”, “we”, “us” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them to the extent applicable to your use of the website and services.

2. About Our Services

PCS provides or facilitates domestic courier, international courier, corporate courier, parcel pickup and delivery, logistics, speed post, time-bound/express and related courier services.

Depending on the shipment, destination, service selected and availability, PCS may arrange the shipment through an appropriate courier or logistics partner. The applicable terms of the carrier or service provider may also apply to the shipment.

3. Website Enquiries and Quotations

The enquiry or quotation form on the website is intended to help us understand your requirements. Submitting an enquiry does not by itself create a confirmed booking or guarantee a particular price, delivery date or service.

Final charges and service availability may depend on shipment weight, dimensions, volumetric weight, origin, destination, service type, applicable taxes, fuel or other surcharges, remote-area charges and the terms of the selected courier partner.

4. Customer Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information required for the requested service, including sender and receiver names, phone numbers, addresses, shipment details and any other information reasonably required for booking and delivery.

PCS is not responsible for delays, failed delivery or additional charges caused by incorrect, incomplete or misleading information supplied by the customer.

5. Packaging and Shipment Condition

The customer is responsible for providing the shipment in suitable packaging unless packaging assistance has been specifically agreed. The parcel should be packed appropriately for the nature of the contents and normal handling during transportation.

PCS or the relevant carrier may refuse, inspect, hold, return or otherwise deal with a shipment where the packaging, contents, documentation or shipment information does not meet applicable requirements.

6. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must not offer for shipment any item that is prohibited or restricted by applicable law, customs regulations, airline rules, courier-partner policies or destination-country requirements.

Examples may include illegal goods, hazardous materials, explosives, certain chemicals, prohibited weapons, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, live animals or other restricted articles. The exact restrictions depend on the service and destination.

The customer is responsible for declaring the contents accurately and providing required documents. PCS may refuse a shipment where the contents or documentation create a legal, safety or service risk.

7. Weight, Dimensions and Charges

Charges may be calculated using actual weight, volumetric weight or another applicable charging method of the selected courier partner. If the shipment is re-weighed, re-measured or reclassified, the final charge may differ from an initial estimate.

Applicable taxes, duties, customs charges, remote-area fees, special handling charges or other carrier charges may be payable separately where applicable.

8. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines are estimates unless a specific time-bound service has been expressly accepted and confirmed in writing. Delivery may be affected by weather, traffic, strikes, public holidays, operational issues, security restrictions, customs procedures, incorrect addresses, recipient unavailability and other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

PCS does not guarantee a delivery date merely because an estimated transit time is displayed or communicated.

9. Tracking

Where tracking is available, shipment status may be provided through the relevant courier or logistics partner's tracking system. Tracking information is dependent on updates received from the carrier and may not always be immediate or continuous.

10. International Shipments and Customs

International shipments may be subject to customs clearance, duties, taxes, documentation requirements, import restrictions and regulations of the destination country.

The sender is responsible for providing accurate shipment descriptions, values and documents and for cooperating with customs or courier requirements. Customs duties, taxes or other destination charges, where applicable, may be payable by the sender or recipient as agreed or as required by the relevant authorities or carrier.

11. Third-Party Courier and Logistics Partners

PCS may use or coordinate with third-party courier and logistics companies for fulfilling a shipment. Their own service terms, prohibited-item rules, liability limits, claims procedures and delivery conditions may apply.

Where a shipment is handled by a third-party carrier, PCS may assist with coordination and customer support but the carrier's operational records and applicable terms may govern matters such as transit handling, tracking, delivery attempts and claims.

12. Loss, Damage, Delay and Claims

Any claim relating to loss, damage, shortage, delay or non-delivery should be reported to PCS as soon as reasonably possible with the shipment details and supporting documents.

Claims may be subject to the terms, timelines, evidence requirements and liability limits of the relevant courier or logistics partner and applicable law. Where applicable, the customer may be required to provide invoices, proof of value, photographs, packaging details or other documents.

13. Cancellation, Return and Refund

Cancellation, return, rebooking and refund eligibility may depend on whether the shipment has already been picked up, processed, dispatched or delivered and on the terms of the relevant courier partner.

Any approved refund will be processed in accordance with the applicable service terms, payment method and deductions for services or charges already incurred.

14. Payment

Where payment is required, the customer agrees to pay the applicable service charges, taxes and other disclosed or applicable charges. PCS may require payment or confirmation before processing a shipment or service request.

15. Website Content and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information useful and current. However, service availability, prices, courier partnerships and other information may change without notice.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

18. Customer Responsibility and Indemnity

You agree to provide lawful and accurate information and to use our services only for lawful purposes. To the extent permitted by law, you may be responsible for losses, costs or claims arising from your unlawful shipment, inaccurate declarations, prohibited contents, misuse of the website or violation of these Terms.

19. Force Majeure

PCS will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil disturbance, strikes, government restrictions, customs actions, transport disruption, security incidents, epidemic or pandemic-related restrictions or major technical/network failures.

20. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website or in connection with our services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
